Full time Technical Assistant to join an award-winning Internet Service Provider supplying connectivity to businesses across the UK. This role is located at our offices on the seafront in St Leonards on Sea.

You’ll need to have a positive and professional attitude, get on well with colleagues and take pride in your own performance. You will be highly professional and comfortable following processes, but also thrive on the challenge of solving a problem when a more complex requirement needs some creative thinking.

You’ll have patience and exceptional customer service skills so it’s possible that you’re currently working in a customer facing role, perhaps in retail, food or leisure. You will have excellent written and oral communications and the ability to achieve and exceed customer driven deadlines, through clear communication, determination and organisation.

You will also instinctively use computers, specifically Microsoft products such as Word and Outlook.

What will you be doing?

With the appropriate training, instruction and guidance, you will be working alongside our qualified professionals and Technical Assistants, acting as a key member of our customer facing team.

You will work as first line support for our business clients, responding to incoming telephone and email requests, processing new orders, supporting projects, engaging with our suppliers and keeping our customers and internal teams updated. The role will also include other activities away from your desk where required to support with general administrative tasks across the business. But above all you’ll be using your enthusiasm and dedication in doing everything possible to ensure our customer gets their service delivered to their deadline and right first time.

Qualifications:

  • GCSE level Maths and English

General skills required:

  • Excellent written and oral communications
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when recording and processing data
  • Solid demonstrable working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent customer service and experience of handling customer enquiries
  • Must be a team player
  • Highly organised

Hours:

  • Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm
