BeamRing IPW56 – How do I enable call forwarding?

Applies to BeamRing User and BeamRing User Plus license holders

The BeamRing cloud phone solution provides you with three call forwarding options.

Forward ALL telephone calls to another number unconditionally:

  1. Press the  (ok) button to bring up the menu options.
  2. Select Call Features and press the  (ok) button.
  3. Select Call Forward and press the  (ok) button two times.
  4. Select Always (disabled) and press the  (ok) button.
  5. Use the (left) / (right) arrows to select Enabled.
  6. Use the  (down) arrow to select Target and enter the destination telephone number.
  7. Press the  (ok) button or select the Save soft key to enable Call Forwarding of all calls. The  (call forward) icon will display on the handset.

Forward telephone calls to another number when I am BUSY:

  1. Press the  (ok) button to bring up the menu options.
  2. Select Call Features and press the  (ok) button.
  3. Select Call Forward and press the  (ok) button two times.
  4. Select Busy (disabled) and press the (ok) button.
  5. Use the (left) / (right) arrows to select Enabled.
  6. Use the (down) arrow to select Target and enter the destination telephone number.
  7. Press the  (ok) button or select the Save soft key to enable Call Forwarding when busy. The  (call forward) icon will display on the handset.

Forward telephone calls to another number when I DO NOT ANSWER:

  1. Press the  (ok) button to bring up the menu options.
  2. Select Call Features and press the  (ok) button.
  3. Select Call Forward and press the  (ok) button two times.
  4. Select No Answer (disabled) and press the  (ok) button.
  5. Use the (left) / (right) arrows to select Enabled.
  6. Use the (down) arrow to select Target and enter the destination telephone number.
  7. Use the  (down) arrow to select After Ring Time. The default time BeamRing will wait before diverting a call on no answer is 12 seconds. If you wish to change this use the (left) / (right) arrows to select the desired diversion time.
  8. Press the (ok) button or select the Save soft key to enable Call Forwarding on no answer. The  (call forward) icon will display on the handset.
