If you have encountered an issue whereby Windows 11 Security Centre doesn’t open, but instead is trying to open up with an app from the “Windows Store”, this quick blog will help to get the native Windows 11 Security Centre online again for you.

Step 1) Open Powershell as an administrator.
You can do this by going to the bottom left-hand corner of your screen and clicking the Windows Icon, type “Powershell”, right click on “Windows Powershell” and click “Run As Administrator”.

Step 2) Enter the following command: 
Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.SecHealthUI -AllUsers | Reset-AppxPackage

Step 3) Accept any permissions prompts that appear and proceed until 100% complete.

Step 4) Now test the Security Centre is working.
