We need broadband to a site with no postcode, does it matter that we don’t have one yet?
No, we can work from a grid reference. Our team has access to the systems needed to book a site survey using this information.
We’re not putting copper into our new housing development, but teams on site need to communicate. What are our options?
We can install FTTP to your show home and/or site compound. This can be used to operate VoIP telephone systems and for all the usual data requirements like email and cloud apps.
Can you provide us with VoIP/telephones, too?
Yes, our BeamRing cloud phone system is perfect for busy sites where staff don’t sit still for long. There’s a mobile phone app that allows users to answer and make calls from the company phone system wherever they are, and installation and maintenance are done remotely. We can get you set up with our mobile smartphone app whilst the installation of your new FTTP connection is ongoing, so you don’t need to wait to get started.
What is OpenReach’s involvement?
We liaise with OpenReach so you don’t have to! They carry out the survey then deliver and install (if necessary) infrastructure, but we have access to many of their systems and will make sure you simply get what you want, when and where you need it.
How long does it take to arrange a survey and get results back?

Do we need to be on site for the survey?
Someone will need to be on site for the survey, so we’ll arrange this for the soonest available convenient date.
Can we install the equipment ourselves?
Yes, we can arrange for equipment to be delivered for self-installation, or you can source your own equipment.
Can we get a short-term contract?
Your broadband and VoIP phone contracts will start off on a 12-month contract then move over to a monthly rolling basis.
If there are ECCs involved in connecting broadband to a site with no postcode, when do we pay them?
This will depend on individual circumstances, it may be necessary to pay upfront but often payment for ECCs is not required until the service is live.
Can we pay by BACS?
Yes, you can arrange to make payment by BACS.
What does it cost if we need infrastructure removed at the end of the project?
For a permanent structure like a show home, no temporary site fee applies. However, there is a £450* charge to remove temporary cabling (to a portacabin, for example) and other equipment at the end of the build, which is payable upfront. We will organise this for you.
