A common and legitimate concern when considering a change of provider is: how will my broadband be affected when I change provider?

 Though many businesses could be getting a better deal and service elsewhere, they’re often put off by the perceived “hassle” and potential disruption caused by changing to a new broadband provider.  The good news is that switching to Beaming is quick and painless.

Will my service be interrupted when I change internet service provider?

What happens when you switch your broadband internet provider will vary from ISP to ISP, but Beaming has years of experience providing for businesses and knows exactly how important it is to have as little interruption to your internet connection as possible. If you’re concerned about losing connectivity for any length of time, don’t be, you will more than likely not even notice the change. That said, we’d advise that you let us know in advance of any particular dates that would be majorly inconvenient to switch over, for example if you have a scheduled conference call with a customer or are planning to live stream a particular event on social media.

Do I need to have any technical knowledge?

Before provisioning your order we’ll talk to you to find out what options are available at your location and most appropriate for your business, then we’ll take care of all the technical side. We’ll send you a pre-configured router along with a password; simply plug it in and enter the password when prompted. Our expert technical support is just at the end of the phone if anything out of the ordinary happens that you need help with.

How long will it take?

The time frame from the point of ordering to activation is approximately 10 working days and if you are thinking further ahead, we can even arrange this for you up to 90 days in advance.
