Talk to us about providing you with fibre connectivity between two or more locations. Beaming’s leased lines enable a high data transmission rate over long distances and because we commit to service levels, if there is a fault, downtime is minimal.
Beaming’s leased lines are delivered via fibre optic
Fibre optic, (also known as optical fibre) is a thin glass core surrounded by transparent cladding material with a lower index of refraction. The fibre is lit at each end by a laser and the light is kept in the core by a rule of physics known as total internal refraction, thus enabling the core to act as a waveguide. Fibre optic enables an incredibly high data transmission rate over very long distances. Unlike broadband delivered over copper networks, fibre does not have the complexity of multiple elements to diagnose in the event of a fault.
